Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat

The Bucks opened as a 1.5-point road favorite over the Heat. But, Milwaukee was an 11.5-point chalk when it hosted the Heat back in October, and they lost. Will this game be another shocking upset? Keep reading to get the free pick!

Betting on the Bucks? Record: 1st in the NBA Eastern Conference

The Bucks are an offensive powerhouse, leading the league in scoring averages and being among the top three teams in field-goal percentages.

But, Milwaukee is also showing signs of improvement on defense, too. The Bucks held the Hornets to just 35 percent shooting from the field and 23 percent from behind the arc last Sunday.

Khris Middleton’s absence due to injury might be a problem moving forward. Middleton might not play tonight, but Antetoukounmpo is more than capable of picking up the slack. The “Greek Freak” posted 41 points, 20 boards, and six dishes against Charlotte.

The Bucks have already secured their spot in the playoffs, but they’re not slowing down any time soon. Milwaukee is 20-2 SU in their last twenty-two games. Plus, the Bucks are 10-0 SU in their previous ten games when playing on a back-to-back schedule.

Betting on the Heat? Record: 38-22, 4th in the NBA Eastern Conference

Miami suffered a heat stroke in February, losing their first eleven games to start the month. However, the Heat won back-to-back their last two games in February against Dallas and Brooklyn.

Miami’s schedule gets a lot easier in March, though, and they should be able to bounce back at home, where the Heat is 25-4 SU this year.

The Heat is also a solid offensive team that generates a ton of free throws. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, however, will need to kick it up a notch if they want to take advantage of Khris Middleton’s absence. Butler averages 20.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game, with Adebayo adding 16.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.

Betting Trends

  • Milwaukee is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games.
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Milwaukee’s last five games.
  • Milwaukee is 6-0 SU in their last six games.
  • Miami is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games.
  • The total has gone OVER in 7 of Miami’s last seven games.
  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Miami’s last six games against Milwaukee.

Insider Prediction:  The Heat has been very good at home. I think Middleton’s absence will help Miami work to slow down Antetokounmpo while putting up points with the Butler-Adebayo duo.

Pick: Heat +4
